Atmosfear, the name of the entire series in some places in the world, is typically used to describe the games following the original 4 that where released under the name Nightmare. Unlike Nightmare, the board consisted of 6 triangle-shaped pieces (called Provinces) that fit into a plastic center piece. It also sported a videotape, once again pitting players against The Gatekeeper, as well as a number of additions that the original series didn\'t have.

Atmosfear Booster Tape: Contained within the box for Atmosfear was a mail in offer for the Booster Tape. The booster tape was basically both a harder and shorter add-on of the game with a limit on the number of keystones that would be placed on the board. The box contained only a single tape to be used in place of the original, although some countries were lucky enough to get two versions of the tape. The reasons for this are, as of yet, unclear.

The Soul Rangers: The second add-on for Atmosfear, Soul Rangers contained a host of new characters, and a demented skeleton host. The add-on contained new playing pieces, cards, and a new tape. The style of the tape was changed, and the game clock was hidden at times. It should be noted, that this is the only Atmosfear game released thus far that sported a host other then the Gatekeeper.

The Third Dimension: Not an add-on for Atmosfear, but a game in it\'s own right. The Third Dimension was released on PC\'s around the world. It was mostly a remake of Harbingers for the computer, but it did have some differences. The game also came with a soundtrack that was meant to be played along with the game. There have also been rumors of an expansion that was released in certain countries that allowed play over the internet.

Atmosfear: The Card Game is a rather interesting mix of Spades and Atmosfear. They game plays similar to spades, having 5 provinces instead of 4 suits, and has a number of cards that grant players powers similar to the ones in Harbingers. The game comes with a deck of cards, and 3 dice, and is a full game in it's own right.

Atmosfear DVD: The series' first DVD game. Despite changes, game play is more remenicent of the original game. Players collect keys to face their fears while taking orders and playing mini-games from an updated Gatekeeper. In another first for the series, this is the first time a board was designed without booster packs in mind. It also introduces the 'black key' which forces it's holder to be unable to win the game until they get rid of it.

Atmosfear: Khufu In what could almost be considered fanservice, the first new host for the DVD series is none other than the long sought after Khufu. This time the board game formula has been changed to give the game a game show feel forcing the players to compete to collect treasure and gold while still facing their fears. Unforseen issues have kept this game from officialy being released in North America.
